The current Photo Challenge is Interiors. To my mind, nothing is more interior than closets, so most of these are pictures of the assorted closets in this tiny apartment. "Watercolor and Books" -- The framed watercolor was a find at a nice Goodwill for about $6 or something like that. I just liked that scene of a rocky bluff by the water, with a lighthouse warning ships away from the treacherous coast. The books on this shelf are mainly movie and TV books. The little wooden chair is a project that I had intended to paint and resell, which obviously I have not gotten around to. Maybe when I get a little bit more ambitious I will still get it done. Any suggestions on color?"Book Closet" -- Whaddya mean, doesn't everyone have a closet of books? This closet came with built-in shelving, so I figured it must be for books, of course. Makes sense to me anyway. Floor area for some sewing materials in plastic box, a hatbox, etc. The tin holds pens. "Jammed" -- The clothes closet is just tiny. This is jammed even though I just removed the bulky sweat pants and a couple turtlenecks and put them away for summer. I even donated a large bag of clothes last year, and still it is crowded. These closets are OK for a man, who may have let's see, about 6 shirts and three or four pants...."Semi-Organized Pantry" -- Some canned and boxed foods are in a wire or plastic container so that I can get at the whole contents. Current hats and mittens tossed back there. Some other stuffed that is stored in medium-sized bins. The large bin in upper right is the winter clothes. I just found the WD-40 in the trunk of the car but lost the little red straw thingie, but anyway it went on the shelf for now. Etc."Glass Owls in Monochrome" -- I have these two glass owls (also resale shop finds) which did not photograph well but I applied a monochrome effect to the photo. It brings out more detail. I used to have oodles more owls but retain just a modest collection now.
