The fabulous new eatery, The Witch's Tea House, has had such strong support for its innovative menus that the current holiday menu has produced solid bookings through New Year's. Latecomers can only be seated in the event of cancellations. Some takeout offerings will however, be available for those who are willing to dine on unusual entrees in the comfort of their own homes.
Creative menu options include: Grinched Meatballs on a platter of green pasta, peppers, and sheep eyes. Vegetarian Herbed Ratatouille with Tomato Sauce, Mushrooms and Garlic Bread. Goat Shanks in Mint with Mouse Livers and Veggie Medley. Gypsy Grilled Bats with Seasoned Veggies and Gravy. Duck a la Orange with Oyster-Bat Liver Dressing and Citrus Sweet Potatoes. Baba Yaga Soup option, a delightful Russian soup of creamed rutabaga and parsnip well seasoned and garnished with frog toes. A charming sugarplum wine accompanies complimentary dessert with all dinners.
The Tea House's knockout creative menus have been the talk of the town ever since they opened this fall. Locals as well as tourists from a hundred miles away have become frequent visitors, and the presence of this charming establishment is credited with an uptick in the local economic figures.
