The dieters among us who are visiting relatives or dining out on the big feast day could use these tips on what to fill your plate with. You don't have to skip dessert, but really the pumpkin pie is far better than the pecan pie for you.

There has to be at least one usable tip that you can use tomorrow when eating out or visiting relatives. Skip the dark meat in favor of white meat? Well, most people do prefer the white meat anyway, so is not a hardship. For me, skipping stuffing is OUT! But OK when it comes to choosing pumpkin pie over pecan pie any day.
