Highly Sensitive Persons (HSPs) can be divided up into several subcategories, depending on what they are sensitive to. Most commonly they are quite sensitive to their environment, but they can be Social Sensitives, Reactives, or Proactives. You may be able to apply your special sensitivities to the learning situation.

I am not that sensitive at all. If I was I wouldn't to be able to do the things I want to do.
The people I meet along the way are tuff and agressive and I have to be able to communicate with them.
If they try to hurt my feelings well that is too bad I seem to be able to handle it and being sensitive would only show that I can't take it.
So I ust go with the flow and I do get excepted in society...

Hey, Kathleen, that is tremendous!! Please let me know where that network is -- maybe you can put it on your About-Kathleen-H segment (on your Newsvine home page). That is, if you have not already done so.
