The 27th Annual Minneapolis/St Paul International Film Fest (MSPIFF) will run April 16-30, 2009, and is opening it up to more entries. The festival includes Oscar nominated titles and regional film-makers, as well as films from over 40 foreign countries.
The subcategories include: World Cinema, American Independent, Minnesota Made, Documentary, Short Docs and Narratives, Childish Films. Film-makers can submit any film made after May 1, 2007 for consideration. Accepted formats include 35MM, Beta SP, Digibeta, video transfers, and of course DVD.

It is a juried show. Most films will be shown at the St. Anthony Main Theatre this year.
