This is from 2003, but some Viners are not aware of all the stuff that was discovered in pre-Newsvine days -- The team of Greg and Lora Little has worked on exploring the Bahamas area for evidence of Atlantis for several years. In a 2003-2004 expedition, they located what looks like a Mexican-type stepped pyramid underwater. They are calling it a temple ruin.
The other discovery appeared to be a breakwater for a harbor: The structure resembles ancient breakwaters found in the Mediterranean, and it is made from closely fitted megalithic stones. Many of the stones used to build this breakwater are 25 by 30 feet in size and are cut to a regular squared shape.
